About Goldendoodles
Goldendoodles have quickly become one of the most popular breeds. By blending the golden retriever’s friendly personality with the poodle’s low-shedding coat and both breeds’ intelligence, you get what many consider the perfect dog. Goldendoodles are highly intelligent, eager to please, and quick learners—making potty training and good manners come naturally. Like their golden retriever parents, they also excel as service and therapy dogs, while their gentle, affectionate nature makes them ideal companions for families with children.
When you combine the laid-back, easy-going, willing-to-please, loves everybody golden retriever to the happy, super-intelligent, extremely loyal hypoallergenic and nonshedding poodle, you get the best of both worlds!
Goldendoodle Coat Types & Colors
Goldendoodles come in 4 coat types: Straight, Wavy, Curly, and Flat (improper). All of our parent dog's coats are tested, so we know their genetic makeup and what to expect in each litter for coat type and allergy friendliness. Our Goldendoodles come in straight to curly and all the in-between Allergy friendly pups. We do not breed for flat coats. We do have high success with Allergy families.
Colors
Goldendoodles come in all different colors and patterns. We love the classic Golden retriever colors. You will find our puppies in a range of white, cream, gold, apricot, carmel, red, and the occasional puppy with white markings.
Straight
The Straight Hair is that soft to the touch beach hair blowout.
Shedding: Straight coats are low to non shedding.
Allergens: Allergy family friendly.
Maintenance: Needs regular grooming on average 6-8 weeks.
Wavy
A Wavy coat is soft to touch and has the beach vibe, with a little extra wavy to it.
Shedding: Wavy coats are low to non shedding.
Allergens: Allergy family friendly.
Maintenance: Needs regular grooming in Average 6-8 weeks.
Curly
A curly hair coat with beautiful ringlets, soft to the touch and Teddy bear cute.
Shedding: Curly hair coats are low to non shedding.
Allergens: Allergy family friendly.
Maintenance: Needs regular grooming on average 6-8 weeks.
Goldendoodle Sizes
Kaos Farm specializes in Smaller size Goldendoodles. While we occasionally have larger pups, who can fall into the Standard size category, KaosFarm focuses on Medium, Miniature and Petite size Goldendoodles.
Know Your Doodles...
A Golden Retriever x Poodle is your 1st generation, and the start to these wonderful dogs.
These are best with non-to-mild allergies.
Grooming needs: medium
Exercise needs: medium
Energy levels: medium
Breed size: miniature to standard
Fur type: medium long
Is an F1 Goldendoodle bred to either of the parent breeds (Golden retriever or Poodle), but most of the time, it is a poodle.
When bred with a poodle, they are good for non-to-severe allergy families.
Grooming needs: medium
Exercise needs: medium
Energy levels: medium
Breed size: petite to standard
Fur type: medium long
Is an F1 to an F1.
We do not breed these as they are unpredictable and non-consistent in coat.
Is 2 Goldendoodles bred together. Because of DNA testing, we have very consistent coats and sizes. They are good for non-to-severe allergy families.

"Hello! Oh my, I was just thinking yesterday that this is the best girl!!! We have named her Ivy. She has settled right into our home and life. She is Harley's little shadow and play buddy. She enjoys going on walks and has met other pups in the neighborhood. The whole family, including dogs in the family, have accepted her. She seems to like water so far. My granddaughter played in the yard with her kiddie pool and the hose today and Ivy was right in the middle of it all. She is eating well, has adjusted to the schedule we use to feed Harley. She is doing well with her crate. She spends an hour or so in it during the day when I go to exercise. And is in it at night. At night she fusses for 2 or 3 minutes then goes to sleep. She's doing well to potty outside. I am so happy to see her doing so well. But I expected nothing less, having had such a great experience with Harley because of all the work you do with the puppies."

"Hi! Oh my gosh hes the best! Hes doing so great. We get so many compliments about how well behaved he is! Its amazing how many more people you meet when you become a dog parent!! Yesterday he spent the day at a baseball tournament and was the star. He has his first vet health visit on Tuesday. Weve gotten insurance and he has a grooming appt set up too. Were also looking into additional training. Its amazing how quickly hes become a part of our family. We cant thank you enough!! Ive added a few pictures.
